Together we can make a difference for every vulnerable child.

Every year 40,000 children and young people come into care in the UK. We want every child to have a stable and loving home where they can thrive.

We would love to come and share the vision of Home for Good with your church, conference or event, whether that’s in a ten-minute slot or through a whole service, sermon or seminar. Our growing network of speakers are equipped to speak passionately from the Bible and from personal and practical experience, to inspire and motivate your church to respond.

Families of Refuge

In Bristol, Wiltshire and the London Borough of Lewisham we are piloting a new project to find homes for asylum-seeking children. Right now there are children, predominantly 16 and 17 year-old boys, waiting in various parts of Europe for a home. These are children who have fled persecution in countries such as Afghanistan, Syria, Eritrea and Sudan and are alone.

Change His Future

Black children are disproportionately represented in our care system. While Black ethnic groups make up 3% of the general population, they make up 7% of the looked after children population, and then Black children are then less likely to go on to be adopted and wait longer to find their adoptive family.

Events

There are loads of events going on around the UK to inspire, inform and equip the local church. We'd love to meet and connect with you, wherever you are! Home for Good events are organised and hosted by a member of the staff team or a local movement. Community events are organised by our partners, champions and other supporters. Support groups are part of the Home for Good network and have registered their group with us.
