Spread the word about this event:

First premiered at the 2019 Young At Art Belfast Children’s Festival Removed is the funny, poignant and affecting fictional story of Adam that offers a glimpse into the often unknown experiences of growing up as a “Looked After” child.

Removed is not based on the experiences of one individual, but rather an amalgam of the many interviews gathered by Fionnuala Kennedy, with Voice Of Young People In Care, a group of young people with care experience who are campaigning for changes to the care system in Northern Ireland.

This major outreach and engagement programme of workshops, showcases and post-show discussions will take place across Northern Ireland. Home for Good is delighted to be partnering with Barnardo's and Clanmill Housing to host this workshop to explore the experience of being in care and to discuss the potential for fostering and adoption across Northern Ireland.
